I went out in the humidity today to Lawrence, Kansas.  I took pictures of Massachusetts between 8th & 10th - 51 items & 143 pictures.  I'm curious to see how many waymark this will turn into.  I also went to the Central Resource Library for Johnson County.  The American Series Book is quite a piece of history.  I can't wait to see what the Missouri book looks like!

I'm still in the process of posting the waymarks from my St. Joe trip from two weeks ago - who knew it takes SO long to post 193 pictures - :)

I did get a milestone this evening - I posted #2000.  It was in the Mausoleums category.

Nave Mausoleum in Mt. Mora Cemetery
Samuel Nave was vice president of Nave-McCord Mercantile Co.,
a business co-founded by his father and uncle.

More waymarks from the St. Joseph trip to come.

I just finished posting my Ottawa, Kansas trip from January.  I ended up with 65 waymarks and two visits.  Highlights include completing all of the buildings in the Historic Downtown District, a former Carnegie Library, and a Tribal flag for the Ottawa tribe:

Elks Building in the Ottawa Downtown Historic District

Former Carnegie Library - now a Community Center

Ottawa Tribal Flag - this flag is on the Ottawa
University Campus.  The University was originally
built to provide education for the Tribe's children.

Just finished up on a waymarking trip to St. Joe.  I have 65 separate objects and 193 photographs to go through.  I'm hoping for approximately 125 waymarks to come from this trip.  I photographed 3 Historical Districts and Several properties on the National Register.  I may end up with just a couple of visits.  I'm looking forward to seeing what the final count will end up being....
